Over the last five years, I have become a mala nerd. As I began to deepen my spiritual practice, I wanted to use a mala during mediation and have with me as I went about my day. In the search for the right one, I wasn't finding any that resonated with me on personal level. There was no "face" behind the piece to give it that love and soul I was searching for. So I started to teach myself how to make my own. After many hundreds of messy ones, the satcha mala began to show itself to me and love affair began. The process has become an extension of my yoga practice and a deeply healing process.
The more I made, the more people were asking if I could make one for them too. For me this the best part, as I love co-creating with my clients to help support their own healing, joy, hopes, dreams and love.
Every single mala is unique and each one is hand knotted by me personally. These are not mass produced.
When I begin a build, my workspace gets spiritually cleansed with a sage smudge and a clearing meditation is performed for super duper vibe creation. Each time I make a knot, I am saying a prayer or mantra for whatever the mala is being asked to manifest. Gotta lock it in there.
Of course...lotsa and lotsa music gets played....(see link below)
Sandalwood and Rudraksha Seeds
The natural and sustainably harvested sandalwood and rudraksha seeds come from India. The sandalwood is the most exquisite I have found as each bead is hand carved and unique in it's own way plus they smell amazing!
The precious and semi-precious crystals are curated for me by an expert who only picks AAA or AA quality stones. She has a great eye!
The stones in my current collection include, rubies, opals, garnets, several interesting varieties for quartz, amethyst, amazonite, tourmaline, labradorite, morganite, malachite, prehnite, citrine, larimar, moonstone and so much more. If you are looking for something specific please just let me know.
The crystals are regularly charged under the full moon.
Organic Linen Thread
The malas are knotted with organic linen thread that is grown in Belgium and hand spun in Italy. No toxins are used in the dying process and the colors are oh so soft.
